Star lighter company

Wenzhou Star Smokin Co. Ltd. was founded in 1990 and specialises in producing lighters.

Their main products are: electronic refillable and disposable plastic gas lighters, flint lighters, windproof lighters, flame lighters, jet lighters, and multi-function lighters.

Most of the production is exported to Middle East, Germany, America, Australia, Italy, Spain, Hong Kong, Taiwan and etc, over 30 overseas countries.

This company has also been accused of manufacturing counterfeit Zippo lighters.

Star lighters are mostly made in Syria and are very cheap-each lighter costs up to 5$ each, but they are of low quality and do not last very long. The gas Star uses leaves a very bad taste when used to light a cigarette, unlike the tastless Zippo lighter refills. Star does counterfeit some of the Zippo lighter designs, possibily without realizing, but cannot be 100% sure AbOUT it. The whole point of the Star company is to compete with Zippo with its low prices and medium quality lighters but they are fun to collect. According to the packaging, the company was founded in 1988.
