In 2009-05-03,President of St Clements University ,David, and his wife came to South China University of Technology to attend the openning ceremony of Academic support center between SCUT and St clements university.

AbOUT St Clements University Academic Support Center

St Clements University Academic Support Center is formed in South China University of Technology, national university in China ranked 23rd in Asia by Asiaweek in 1999. This center is by formation of an advanced technology online platform, with support by the technology expert and hundreds of professors in South China University of Technology. The aim of this center is to support the qualtiy teaching of the St Clements University global school network.

History of St Clements University

In 1995, when St. Clements University was formed, very few Commonwealth countries allowed the registration of private distance learning universities. The Turks and Caicos Islands, being a British Colony, their highest Court of Appeal is the Privy Council. The Privy Council has ruled on numerous occasions, that if an organisation is called a University, it can issue degrees. Thus, on 16 March 1995, St. Clements University was registered as a University company in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Mission State

St Clements University is a private university. The role of the university is to provide educational services based on market need at degree level. The goal is to assist suitably qualified people gain the knowledge and skills to fulfill the degree requirements in the most efficient methods possible. The University is student oriented, its purpose is to assist students gain the maximum qualifications they are capable of achieving. At all times the standard of degree requirements shall not be compromised.
