Sportscene TV
Sportscene TV, also known as Sportscene, is a media and consultancy company. Founded in Australia in 2008, it focuses on advisory, sports content production and content distribution, including news, information, InterViews, video, photography and live and taped events.
Besides covering mainstream sports, Sportscene specializes in Internet broadcasting, filming, and photographing of niche sports for corporate sponsors, athletes, PR agencies, organizing bodies, sports federations, and professional sports clubs around the world. Through the Sportscene coverage, many people are able to follow, connect and interact with their sport globally. Digital media opportunities are utilized, which have also been recognized by the Olympic Movement to “allow for effective information dissemination, content diffusion and interactivity with the global population, in particular with the youth of the world”, as well as to "gain increased penetration, exposure and greater accessibility worldwide.” Various sports organizations, such as the IOC and constituents of the Olympic Movement, have begun to take steps to ensure the fullest coverage by different media and the widest possible audience in the world. To this effect, at the XIII Olympic Congress Martin Sorrell called for giving “content to young people in formats they want – short and fast, customisable and easy to share”.
