SPL5

The 2026 Sport Parkour League World Championships (SPL 5) was an international parkour competition held from August 21 to August 23, 2026, at Origins Parkour in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was the fifth EDition of the numbered Sport Parkour League (SPL) championship series.

The competition featured several historical milestones in competitive parkour:

  • Audrey Johnson completed an unprecedented third consecutive "double sweep", winning both the Women's Speed and Women's Style world titles in 2024, 2025, and 2026, raising her career total to 6 championship titles.
  • Elis Torhall captured his fourth consecutive Open Style world championship (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026), remaining undefeated in SPL Style competition since his debut.
  • Brandon Hooper won his third consecutive Open Skill world title (2024, 2025, 2026), solidifying a three-year reign in the discipline.
  • Siebe van de Spijker secured back-to-back Open Speed world titles (2025, 2026).
  • Camila Stefaniu captured the Women's Skill world championship with a division-high 15.0 points.

SPL 5 also marked the first edition where on-site open qualifiers were eliminated, admitting athletes strictly through international partner qualifiers and previous world championship placements.

Qualification circuit

The 2025–2026 international qualifying calendar spanned eight countries, awarding direct bids to the world championship through national championships and sanctioned regional events:

  • United Kingdom: Project Underground 12 (Rotherham, UK)
  • Europe: SPL European Championships at Hal 5 (Leuven, Belgium)
  • United States: United States Parkour Association (USPK) National Championships at Hub Parkour Training Center (Sudbury, Massachusetts)
  • International Tour Stops: Regional qualifiers across Brazil, Denmark, South Korea, Australia, and Canada.

Finalists from the preceding SPL 4 championship in 2025 also received automatic bids into the competition roster.

Skill

The Skill competition evaluated athletes across three rounds consisting of 14 total movement challenges, scored on successful completion rather than execution time. Brandon Hooper achieved 12 completions out of 14 challenges to claim his third consecutive men's title (13.0 points), while Camila Stefaniu led the women's division with 12 completions for 15.0 points.
