==Biography==
Kane was born in South Bend, Indiana and grew up in Ocala, Florida from early 1997 through 2004. His family moved back to Indiana and has lived in Kendallville since. When he's not performing at a concert or in front of a TV camera, he is a committed student-athlete having played basketball since age 4 and baseball since age 7.<ref name="solist">{{cite web|url=http://www.boysoloist.com/artist.asp?VID=5061 |title=Spencer Kane Boysoloist Profile |publisher= |date= |accessdate=}}</ref>

==Career==
Spencer was first filmed in 2001 (age 5) lip syncing his favorite song, ''Written on My Heart'', to a fun music video created as a family Christmas gift for relatives back in Indiana. At age 10, he wrote and recorded his first original song titled, ''Do Ya''.<ref name="solist" />

In 2010, he participated in the Noble County Idol competition in the 16 and under division. He finished runner up. He continued working on song writing in between sport seasons and wrote his debut single ''Best Friends''.<ref name="solist" />

In February 2011, he worked with Sweetwater Studios to finalize the music and recording of his original song. In April 2011, he competed in Fort Wayne for a chance to audition before Simon Cowell for the show XFactor. Although he did not win the opportunity, he did finish top 3 out of over 100 auditioners. In June 2011 he performed live at RiverFest 2011 located on the campus of IPFW in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Over 15,000 visitors were present that day with an audience of well over 1500 viewing his performance later in the evening.<ref name="solist" />

Spencer filmed the first two videos of his career in July 2011. Both featured his debut single, ''Best Friends'' and ''Best Friends - Remix''. Both have been viewable on his YouTube channel along with many other live performance videos. His newest release, ''Knowing'' hit store shelves Thanksgiving week 2011. It has been received with much praise from critics in the industry and fans around the world. Spencer performs locally in Indiana at various venues and in August 2011 performed for over 500 people.<ref name="solist" />

In 2012 signed a performance contract with [[IShine KNECT|IShine]] (Bema Media LLC) based in Nashville, Tennessee in June. He is a recurring role on the TBN Network sitcom "iShine Knect" (as himself) and will be a featured artist on iShine compilation CD's and DVD's as well as a featured artist in the iShine national tour each Spring and Fall beginning in 2013.<ref name="solist" />
