Southern Fried Stings
Southern Fried Stings is an American television series where ex-state trooper Jay Russell and his "Jay Team" portray sting operations throughout the Southern United States. The series consists of scripted "re-enactments" and videotaped in a cinéma vérité style in southern states such as Texas and Georgia. The "Jay Team" consists of Jay Russell; England Simpson, Jay's right hand woman; William Duram, martial arts expert; private investigator Randy "Wolf" Wise; and youth counselor Robert "Tank" Crayton.
Cast
- Jay Russell is the founder of R.A.I.D. (Resistance Against Illegal Drugs) Corps, Inc. Formerly, he was a South Carolina state trooper and a member of the Governor's Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team (ACE Team).
- England Simpson is Jay Russell's sidekick. In college she studied sociology, with a concentration in criminology. She also held an internship with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg courthouse in North Carolina.
- William Duram has been disciplined in martial arts since the age of seven. He has mastered the arts of kenpo, kickboxing, and karate and has trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay thai, Okinawan karate, Chinese kenpo, and kickboxing. He is a security expert.
- Randy "Wolf" Wise is a private investigator who has worked with R.A.I.D. for over 12 years. Wolf's dog, Nero, is also a member of the team.
- Robert "Tank" Crayton is the newest member of the Jay Team. Tank is a youth counselor and chemical ops specialist. He brings to the team a background both in the U.S. Army and juvenile justice.
