Sophie Cornish
Sophie Cornish (Born Sophie Vincenzi in London, 11th of August 1965 to Paul and Penny Vincenzi) is an author, journalist and entrepreneur as well as being co-founder of notonthehighstreet.com.

After university, Sophie began her career as a journalist with the National Magazine Co. for whom she worked between 1984 and 1990. She became an editor for the beauty sections of both Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping Magazine.
She moved into marketing in the 1990s, developing Boots' No 7 and 17 cosmetics ranges. She went from this to managing the advertising campaigns of L'Oreal and Monsoon.
She then returned to her journalistic roots in 1999, contributing over the next six years to PS Magazine, Boots Health & Beauty Magazine, Brides Magazine and the London Evening Standard.
In 2003 Ebury Press published her book Your Wedding Your Way, a guide for the soon to be wed on how to have a stylish wedding without going over budget. .

Launched in April, 2006, the brainchild of Sophie and her business partner Holly Tucker, notonthehighstreet.com . is an online marketplace for small businesses and crafts people. The website was born of an idea to allow consumers to shop from a vast number of bespoke products from artists, designers and entrepreneurs all from the comfort of their own home. Some of the awards that Sophie and Holly have won include Young Guns 2008 (which selects the country's top creative professionals) and BT Business Essence of the Entrepreneur 2008, as judged by Peter Jones. Sophie and Holly were also named in Marie Claire's 23 Women feature which noted them among the women helping to shape a 'Greater Britain'.
Sophie lives in London with her husband and two children. Sophie has three sisters, and her mother is novelist Penny Vincenzi.
