SogoInvest is an online discount STOCK market brokerage firm that deals in whole and partial shares of stock and exchange-traded funds. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genesis Securities LLC, the only order entry platform that is Platinum-Certified by NASDAQ . Dealing entirely on the Internet, trades are placed by the customer in either real time or as an automatic daily investment.

History

William Yeh established Genesis Securities LLC on 1999 to serve institutional traders. By consistenetly Providing the advanced trading technology, excellent customer service, and very competitive pricing, Genesis Securities now executes on average 2-4% of NASDAQ's 1-1.5% of NYSE/AMEX's daily trading volume. Genesis's focus on the professional trader and institutions allowed it to grow tremendously during its first few years of operation. However in order to meet the needs of the average trader, Gensis Securities launched SogoInvest in July of 2006, despite facing a market already dominated by discount brokerages.

Although SogoInvest was entering a crowded market, William Yeh was not worried by the intense competition. Because SogoInvest is a subsidiary of Genesis Securities, SogoInvest does not need to pay software licensing fees to another company for a trading platform, stock quotations, and other services. As a result, SogoInvest can maintain its position as "the deepest discount broker".
