So Much More...

"So Much More..." is the debut EP from British recording artist Bentley Jones scheduled for release on January 19th 2010 and features the main theme of the video-game Sonic & SEGA All-stars Racing. The EP follows Bentley's debut Japanese album TRANS//LATION as well as previous song contributions to the Sonic the Hedgehog series Open Your Heart (Remix) (Sonic Adventure), Seven Rings in Hand (Face to Faith: Sonic and the Black Knight) and most notably Dreams of an Absolution (Sonic the Hedgehog) along with contributions to the games' scores and compositions. The EP also features the song Swing Baby! which was originally featured in Gaia Online's online event PROMAGEDDON along with two other tracks from Bentley, collectively gathering 1,152,835 streams in less than a week making them the most popular tracks in the entire event.

Promotion

The EP was officially announced on December 5th by Bentley as well as SEGA Europe and SEGA of America, however Bentley had leaked the release date prior by using the Facebook application Farmville and scribing the EP title and date into his crops. Upon the announcement a trailer was released revealing that fans would be able to vote for their favourite front cover as well as feature in the video to win prizes.

On January 12th 2010 the music video for "So Much More... ~Ballad Version~" was released on YouTube. It features Bentley amidst snowy surroundings, a product of him wanting to make something positive from the weather that had been plaguing the country since Christmas. The video was shot by previous collaborator Alexa Rowledge with Bentley in charge of direction.

On February 17 2010 it was announced the Bentley would be appearing live at the Midland MCM Expo in Telford for the debut live performances of "So Much More..." and tracks from the EP to an audience of over 2,000. He also confirmed via Facebook and Twitter that he would be a guest at the much bigger London MCM Expo in May.
