SMSCountry Networks Pvt. Ltd. is an SMS service providing company headquartered in Hyderabad, India. It is one of first companies in India to offer SMS Services Online and it delivers SMS to AbOUT 550 networks in over 200+ countries. It has offices in India, U.A.E, Singapore, Hong Kong.

History

SMSCountry was founded on April 16th, 2003 in Hyderabad by Satya Kalyan Yerramsetti and Raju kalluri with 3 people in a 2 bedroom flat at Ameerpet, Hyderabad. In 2005 SMSCountry has started an own office in Hyderabad with 30 employees.

In 2006 SMSCountry has started an online health web portal called www.ygoy.com with more than 50 health channels.

SMSCountry has successfully launched a free SMS service called www.160by2.com, stating that in 1997 Hotmail asked "Why can't personal email be FREE?" and in 2007 - SMSCountry questions "Why can't personal SMS be FREE?”

In 2007, SMSCountry took its first step to become global in its presence! SMSCountry started its UAE branch with a single employee and now gradually growing the team size! Another country added at the end of 2007, Hong Kong. It was started having a local chinese friend, who believed and worked towards growing Hong Kong business and the company.

2008 started with opening offices and local presence in Mumbai and Delhi. Adding to the team size of SMSCountry giring more people in Mumbai and Delhi became the main of the company! Yet another acheievment SMSCountry was awarded as Winner of Technology Deloitte Fast 50 India 2008 and Winner of Technology Deloitte Fast 500 Asia Pacific.

2009 started off with adding another country to SMSCountry's local presence in Singapore. Singapore being the most technology oriented place SMSCountry registered its company and also has a sales person for SMSCountry Singapore Pte Ltd.

Timeline

  • 2003: SMSCountry was started
  • 2005: SMSCountry had its own office in Hyderabad (HQ)
  • 2006: SMSCountry ventured into yet another web portal called www.ygoy.com which had 50 other channels pertaining to information on health and health products!
  • 2007: UAE office was started. SMSCountry's first step towards Global presence. Hong Kong office was started as well at the end of the year 2007.
  • 2008: SMSCountry was recognized as the fasted growing technology company by Deloitte. SMSCountry ranked 25th out of 50 fastest growing technology company in India and 208th among the 500 fastest growing company in Asia Pacific. Full fledge local presence, started offices and built a team in Mumbai and Delhi.
  • 2009 - Yet another country added, Singapore offices was incorporated.
