Slinky Sunbeam

Slinky Sunbeam (Also known as Slinky Winfield) is an English musician, actor and writer.

Slinky Sunbeam was formally a bassist with Laura Marling and now plays with new band: The MusicAL Differences(Ex- The Holloways, Dirty Pretty things, The Paddingtons). They are fresh from recording in L.A. with Clive Langer (Madness, Dexys Midnight Runners), Iain Gore (Larrikin Love), and Stones legend Ronnie Wood, they have already supported The Kooks and are currently working on their debut album. Slinky also appears alongside pop group Girls Aloud in 'The Promise' music video. Slinky's relationship with 'Chasing Pavements' singer Adele Atkins was closely followed by the press, but has been denied by both parties.

Slinky trained with The National Youth Theater, and was a member of NYT's first ever year long course. In September 09 he performed at Soho Theatre in a play written by Zawe Ashton called 'Skunk'. He also appeared in the recent Myspace drama 'Freak'.

His TV work includes T4,(Frock Me!, Road to V) and several shows on BBC2: (Switch, and Sound). Most memorably the TV show 'Scene Stealers' where he had to live with a chav for one week on the outskirts of London, and then pass himself off as one in front of a panel. He also hosts shows, and recently interviewed guests; including Nick Cave, at the recent iTunes Festival.

Slink writes short stories for lifestyle glamour magazine 'Super Super'. They have recently gone nationwide in WH-Smiths, and had a series of short films made AbOUT them for Channel 4. The 3 Minute Wonders ran from the 7th-10th September 2009. Episode 4 is entitled Super Slinky.

On the side Slinky can be seen modelling. He has done jobs for Playstation, Virgin Mobile, Uniqlo, Nokia, Puma, Bedhead and The Times to name a few.
