Sligo Senior Football Championship 1957
This is a round-up of the 1957 Sligo Senior Football Championship. Tubbercurry won the Championship once again, after defeating Ballisodare convincingly in the final. However this was to be Tubbercurry's last title for 19 years, as their years of dominance faded away. Ballisodare had earlier ousted the reigning champions, Tourlestrane, in the opening round.
Quarter Finals
The quarter finals of the Championship saw Tubbercurry, Sooey, Ballymote and Ballisodare qualify for the semi-finals. Reigning champions Tourlestrane crashed out in the first defence of their title, losing to Ballisodare.
