SkillEmpire, formerly known as LogicEmpire is an internet Software company that focuses on developing online games of skill such as backgammon, chess and billiard. SkillEmpire owns and operates the online backgammon room Play65 and the online pool website Play89.

Background

SkillEmpire was established in Israel in 2004 by three graduates of the Israel Institute of Technology whom vision was to create one common platform that will allow internet users from around the world to communicate while playing online skill games. SkillEmpire's platform is available in more than 15 languages including English, French, Germany, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, and more.

Play65™

The online backgammon room Play65 is SkillEmpire's first product. Play65 was launched in 2004. Play65 features include 3D backgammon freeware, online backgammon games, and backgammon tournaments. Play65 also serves as a backgammon database with articles on backgammon history, rules, strategies and backgammon school. Play65™ has about 3 million registered members from more than 20 countries.

Play89™

SkillEmpire's online pool room Play89 was launched in April 2007. Play89 features multi player online 8-ball pool game. The company intends to add online 9-ball pool and online snooker games in the near future Play89 also contains articles on billiards.
