Sixteen Miles to Merricks and Other Works is an original graphic novel anthology and art book by comic book artist Barnaby Ward. The collection at over 200 pages, contains four short stories and a collection illustrations and sketches.
The stories include, Sixteen Miles to Merricks, High Beer Nation, Rooftops, and The Forest.
The last thirty pages of Sixteen Miles to Merricks and Other Works consists of sketches and pinups by Barnaby Ward and a collection of pinups by guest artists, such as Brandon Graham,
Joao Ruas, Sunder Raj, and others. Sixteen Miles to Merricks and Other Works
also has a collection of pin ups and sketches of Barnaby Ward's ongoing project, an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in
Wonderland.
Sixteen Miles to Merricks and Other Works is Barnaby Ward’s first solo project
to reach publication through the publishers at Frogchildren Studios. It is his first solo work, whose previous work can
be seen most notably in Image Comic's Anthology Popgun.
