Siri Shiva Singh

Siri ShiVa Singh is an American born peace activist, writer, singer, dancer, and yogi. He was born Darrell Andre Clark Jr. on (October 24, 1977) in Los Angeles, California. In 2000, he made his theatrical debut in Disney’s “The Lion King", and performed with Congo Square Theater in Langston Hughes', "Black Nativity".

Siri Shiva started practicing Iyengar yoga at age fifteen from a book. After a performance accident which required knee surgery to correct, he started practicing Power yoga as a form of rehabilitation. He was certified to teach Hatha yoga in 2002. Continuing to teach nationwide, he developed an interest in Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and was certified to teach it in 2008. "Siri Shiva's rockin' an innovative mix of Kundalini kriyas, Hatha flow and ecstatic dance." It was through the practice of Kundalini yoga that Siri Shiva was blessed with his spiritual name and began actively participation in the US Dept of Peace Initiative and working with Casa De Milagros as a for of Karma yoga.
