Simonna

Simona Milinytė (born December 12, 1995) is a singer and actress better known as "Simonna". The name "Simonna" means "to hear, listen". She is noted by music critics to possess perfect intonation, an expressive vocal style and powerful voice. Simonna began performing as a vocalist at the age of three. At the age of ten, Simonna began her solo career. At the age of twelve, she released her first album, entitled "12", on the Zuzi Records label in Lithuania. Her songs are popular on Lithuanian radio stations throughout the country. She writes the lyrics for her songs and is interested not only in music, but in expressive dance movements and is learning to play the guitar. She is capable of performing in a variety of musical styles. In 2008-2009, Simonna was invited to tour with Lithuania's most famous singers in the Olialia Zuzi Fiesta Tour. In 2010-2011, Simonna (billed as Simona Milinyte) was invited to perform at Nida, Lithuania's largest music festival. In 2011, Simonna she was invited to join Twit Change, "a global celebrity auction", as a celebrity chosen to champion the organization. July, 2011 Simonna has acted in famous Lithuanian TV series ‚,Giminės. Po 20 metų‘‘ as a guest star. Simonna has turned 16 on 12th December and is therefore qualified to enter the Eurovision Song Contest according to the rules. She won the national semi-final of Eurovision and in the national final came 7th. Simonna is the youngest singer in Lithuania that has ever been singing in the national Eurovision Song Contest. Simonna also was a host of her own radio show on one of the most popular radio stations in Lithuania - ‘‘EXTRA FM‘‘. In March, 2012 Simonna has signed with USA based management June Entertainment and manager John Ryan Jr.

2007 In Kaunas city Song Contest Simonna won the first place with song “Kaunas”. This song later became like a kind of anthem of Kaunas city. 2008 In spectacular contest at Pompeii city (Italy), Simonna was rated as the most artistical performer. 2008 In the International Young Talent Competition “Talent Kaunas – 2008” Simonna won the 2nd place. 2008 In the contest “Baltic Talents” took place in Riga, Simonna was nominated for a diploma. 2008 Simonna released her debut album called "12 ". 2009 In the first republic children and youth vocal competition "Nightingale’s Valley” Simonna won the 2nd place. 2009 In St. Petersburg’s contest "The path to the stars - in 2009” the young singer has been rated as the most perspective singer. 2009 In International Talent Competition Talent Kaunas - 2009 Simonna won the 1st place. 2009 In competition "Baltic Transit” Simonna won 3rd place. In 2008-2009, Simonna was invited to tour with Lithuania's most famous singers in the Olialia Zuzi Fiesta Tour. 2010 In TV Festival TV Start” in Turkey Simonna won Grand Prix in the vocal category and won 1st place in model category . 2010 In one of the most famous festival in the worldSan Remo” (Italy) Simonna became a finalist. 2010 Simonna has successfully completed The New York Film Academy‘s „Four Week Musical Film Workshop“. 2011 Simonna was invited to attend TwitChange (is a movement to bring celebrities and fans together in a loud, fun way on Twitter to bring awareness and financial support to charitable causes that change the world). July, 2011 Simonna has acted in famous Lithuanian TV series ‚,Giminės. Po 20 metų‘‘ as a guest star. In 2012 Simonna applied to the national Eurovision Song Contest in Lithuania. She won semi-final and in the national final came 7th. She is the youngest national Lithuania’s Eurovision Song Contest participant ever. 2012 Simonna started to host her own show on an unknown radio station called EXTRA FM. In March, 2012 Simonna has signed with manager John Ryan Jr.
