Simon Mastrantone
Simon Mastrantone was a singer/songwriter from Birmingham, England.
His debut mini-album Simon Mastrantone and the first noise was released by Rekabet Records in September 2006. The lead track "Sing a Song of Petulance" was featured on MTV2's 120 Minutes. Was favourably mentioned in John Kennedy's column in Dazed and Confused and then later featured as an artist in residence on Kennedys Xfm radio show.
Has supported notable artists Emmy the Great, Jeremy Warmsley, Jamie T and Jack Penate. Performed at the 2007 Camden Crawl and Secret Garden Party.
Was close friends with Jeremy Warmsley and features heavily on Warmsleys Transgressive debut "The Art of Fiction." Also ran a night with Warmsley in London.
Untimely Death
Announced his death of "[...] of the stage name" on September 18th 2007.
