Simon Kenton Council
The Simon Kenton Council is one of the 81 councils within the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Central Region. It has 12 districts within central and southern Ohio, and northern Kentucky. The headquarters are located within Columbus, Ohio. Its council number is 441 and its Order of the Arrow Lodge is #65 Tecumseh. The Council is also considered to be part of the Area 4 of the Central Region.
Districts
- Arrowhead District serves Northeast Franklin County, New Albany and Westerville
- Buckeye District serves Northwest Franklin County, including Clintonville, Dublin, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, and Worthington
- Capitol District serves Central Franklin County
- Chief Logan District serves Fayette, Jackson, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, and Vinton Counties in Ohio
- Chief Tarhe District serves Fairfield & Hocking Counties in Ohio
- Delaware District serves Delaware County in Ohio
- Licking District serves Licking County
- North Star District serves Union County
- Scioto Valley District serves Southwest Franklin County and Madison County
- Simon Kenton District serves Highland and Adams Counties in Ohio and Bracken, Lewis, and Mason Counties in Kentucky
- Tecumseh District serves Scioto and Lawrence Counties in Ohio and Greenup County in Kentucky
- Tri-Creek District serves Southeast Franklin County

Boy Scouts
There are many programs in Simon Kenton Council. Each year there are approximately 300 new Eagle Scouts.
Tecumseh Lodge
Tecumseh Lodge # 65 serves Simon Kenton Council. It is part of the C4-B section and participates in it conclave each year. Its chapters are:

Venturing
Simon Kenton Council is one of the 7 councils to earn the 2007 Central Region Venturing Standards of Excellence Award. It has had a Venturing Officers Association since 2000. Its Officers have gone on to serve at many Regional and Area Leadership roles. Annually it provides many events for Venturings such as:

- Wilderness First Aid Training Weekend
- Venturing C.U.P. (Challenge 'Ur Peers)
- Silver V
- Camp Oyo High Adventure Camp

- Annual Venturing Banquet
Sea Scouting
Simon Kenton Council has had an interesting history as the Council only has rivers and lakes for water. Sea Scouting has only existed before World War II and after the 21st Century. There were never any Sea Explorers in this Council. There have been 11 Quartermasters ever.
