Sigurd Hoeberth

Sigurd Höberth Von Schwartzal (Romanized as Sigurd Hoeberth) was a person living in early 20th century Germany who is notable for founding what some would consider the first men's rights organization. The organization, Der Bund für Männerrechte, was founded in 1926, though it later split up into two factions. Der bund contrasts other organizations from the late 19th century due to the broad range of men's rights issues it dealt with. Its goals were articulated in a "a ten point 'covenant'". Very little is known about his life other than that related to the organizations that he participated in and founded.
