Sharon Public Higher Secondary School
Sharon Public Hr. Sec. School made its humble beginning in April 1985 with only 11 children and one teacher on its rolls. Within two years the strength had increased to 200 and now the school has a strength of 500 children from Nursery to 12th STD.. Now it has become a full fledged Higher Secondary School recognized by J&K Government and affiliated to the J&K Board of School Education Jammu up to 12th STD. In 12th class we have an average of 90% result.
The school has been aiming at providing an all round education to boys and girls to enable them to fulfill their role in life as good citizens, special attention is given to the students' moral, intellectual, social, physical and spiritual development, games and athletic competitions, cultural competitions, cross country race, mountaineering, excursions etc. are part of regular activities of the school. All subjects except Hindi and Urdu are taught through English medium. Special attention is given to spoken English.

Medium
Being an English medium, the school lays special emphasis on the usage of English language in student-teacher and student-student interaction. This helps students to get a good hold on the English language.
