Shane Menere

Shane Menere (born 28 January 1970) is an Australian mining executive and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder, director and chief executive officer of Far East Gold Ltd, an Australian-listed mineral exploration company focused on copper and gold projects in Australia and Southeast Asia, and serves as non-executive chairman of EV Resources Ltd.

Early life and Professional Career

Menere has more than 25 years of experience in the mining and natural resources industry, working on exploration and infrastructure projects across Australia, Indonesia, Papua, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

In 2020, Menere co-founded Far East Gold Ltd and became its chief executive officer in 2021.

In 2025, he was appointed non-executive chairman of EV Resources Ltd.

He is also a co-founder and non-executive director of Tec Minerals Pty Ltd.

Menere appeared in mining news coverage of drilling programs, resource expansion efforts, and investment updates.
