Shah Matuaili

Matuail is famous and known for Matuail Darbar-E-Mozaddedia and considered to be one of the holiest places of pilgrimage to the sufi seekers in Bangladesh. It not only bears the sacred memory of Shahanshah-e-Tariqat, Alem-e-Haqqani, Mufassir-e-Quaran Alhajj Hazrat Mawlana Kutubuddin Ahmad Khan Naqshbandi Mozaddedi Shah Matuaili (RH) but also holds the holy footmark of Master of the Devotees, Sultanul Awlia, Reviver of present age Shah Sufi Syed Abul Fazal Sultan Ahmad Chandrapuri Naqshbandi Mozaddedi (RH).

In 1957 of Christian era upon completion of education, Hazrat Shah Matauaili (RH) settled himself at Matuail of Jatrabai Thana (previously Demra Thana) under Dhaka District and began to serve the mankind through delivering speeches of Tafsirul-Quaran. His name and fame spread all over the country. His speeches had been quoted everywhere and his name was on every tongue. Truth seekers from far and wide came to him seeking verdicts on fatwa. Matuail then became the nerve centre of Islamic research and reforms. From then Hazrat Shah Matuaili’s onward spree for enlightening the hearts of millions of God seekers, salvation of religion from rejected beliefs and darkness began. Still it is going on with special emphasis on love and respect for all and inner jihad for self purification. All the activities are clustered around the ideology of Hazrat Shah Matuaili (RH).

The world first knows Hazrat Shah Matuaili (RH) as a Mufassir-e-Quaran. In fact, he was a sunni sufi scholar unparallel to any one and still considered to be one of the top religious personalities in the country. He is the only mufassir who had performed tafsir of the Holy Quran into Bengali language for long 21 years. His contribution for establishing Eid-E-Miladunnabi (SAW), Ashura, Shab-E-Barat, Shab-E-Qadar and many other sunni rituals in Bangladesh has become a hearsay.

Hazrat Shah Matuaili (RH)’s philosophy is the philosophy that has been preached by the holy Prophet and Guide to reach our Lord Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Ahmad Mujtaba (SAW) and traveled down stream through the golden lineage of Khalifatul Muslimin Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique (RD), Hazrat Salman Farsi (RD), Hazrat Jafar Sadiq (RD), Hazrat Bayezid Bostami (RH), Hazrat Abdul Khaiq Ghujdawani (RH), Imamut Tariqat Hazrat Khwaja Bahauddin Naqshband Bukhari (RH), Monarch and Imam of the Tariqa Hazrat Shaikh Ahmad Sirhindi Mozadded Alif Sani (RH), Qutubul Ershad Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Fateh Ali Waisi (RH), Great Saint of world peace Khazain-e-Rahmat Hazrat Shah Enayetpuri Naqshbandi Mozaddedi (RH), and Reviver of present age Hazrat Mawlana Shah Sufi Syed Abul Fazal Sultan Ahmad Chandrapuri Naqshbandi Mozaddedi (RH).
