Seung Kook Park
Dr. Seung Kook Park is the Managing Director of Biopharmaceutical Research Center of Hanall Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. since May 2007.
Seung Kook Park was born in 1963 in South Korea. He graduated Agricultural College, Seoul National University with a BS in 1985 and KAIST with an MS and PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology in 1987 and 1991 respectively. After one year of post-doctoral training at Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), he had started his work at Research Institute of Life Science of Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. He was principal research scientist (1992-1995) and chief research scientist and general manager (1996-2001). After resigning from Daewoong in 2007, he joined the Biopharmaceutical Research Centre of Hanall Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
His was also a director of Academia-Industry Cooperation of the Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering (2000-2001) and an invited research scientist at the Research Institute of Biotechnology of Takeda Chemical Co., Ltd. in Japan (1998). He has 29 publications and 29 applied and registered patents.
Awards
He received a Patent Technology Award from from the Korean government in 1996, a bio-industry award in 2001 from the commerce minister, an industry and energy award from the Korean government in 2001, and a New [...] Development Award from the Korean Association of New [...] Development in 2003.
