SettleMint is a Belgian based Software company that was founded by Matthew Van Niekerk and Roderik van der Veer in the year 2016.
Overview
The founders together built and developed the core technology, Mint. The technology bridges the gap between knowledge and capabilities of companies and organisation. The company builds software that helps the organizations to use blockchain model. The company is funded by Medici Ventures. The Islamic Research and Training Institute partnered with SettleMint and Ateon to create Sharia-compliant financial products using blockchain’s smart contracts.
Technology
Mint
‘Mint’ contains Research and Development (R&D) on the operational, technical, and organizational aspects of blockchain technology. It then packages this in software development kits (SDK). These software development kits have the smart contract templates, API layers, micro services, and browser components needed to build applications.
DataBroker DAO
DataBoker DAO is a peer-to-peer marketplace for the Internet of Things (IoT) sensor data. The marketplace was launched by the company in July 2017. The functionality of this core marketplace is powered by Etheruem smart contract.
In October 2017, the company announced the first two official members of the DataBroker alliance, YUKTIX and SENTHUS.
