Sanctuary of the Clans

The Sanctuary of the Clans is a place in the Legacy of Kain series.

Location

The Sanctuary of the Clans is located in the southern region of Nosgoth, where, in the Blood Omen era, lay the Pillars of Nosgoth. Kain's throne lay at the ruined Pillar of Balance.

Features

External features

Externally, the Sanctuary of the Clans seems to be a huge Gothic edifice, constituted of seven entrances, each one to one of the Lieutenants and Kain himself.

Above each entrance there is a depiction of the symbol of the lieutenants' clans, and Kain's (while the Lieutenant's clan symbols are depicted on banners, Kain's symbol is depicted on the very wall.

Internal features

Internally, the Sanctuary of the Clans has an eastern architecture, most notably Persian, with a huge hallway with many locked entrance.

Kain's throne room

The Throne room has a circular shape. At the north lay the Pillars of Nosgoth, the Pillar of Balance being Kain's throne. Around the room there are many columns and banners displaying the Lieutenants' symbols, and some marble plates.
