Samrat Das

Samrat Das (Nepali: सम्राट दास, born August 19, 1998) is a Nepalese actor and model active in the Nepali cinema and music video industry. He is recognized for his performances in local music videos and his transition into major Nepali feature film productions focused on regional themes.

Music videos

Das initially built a profile within the Nepalese entertainment media by appearing in short-form musical films. He gained initial industry recognition for his roles in the popular tracks Rang Kada (co-starring Garima Sharma) and Aadat (co-starring Gita Dhungana and Sarita Dhungana). He also made a cameo appearance in the musical film Afnai Swartha.

Film debut

In May 2025, Das was cast in the lead role for the action feature film Pratibairam . Produced under the banner of Rays Entertainment in collaboration with Kings YT Studio and Shreeyan Entertainment, the project marked his transition from musical shorts to mainstream cinema.

The film directed by Roshan Das, was set entirely within the Madhesh region and highlighted local socio-political issues and challenges. Das portrayed a young man fighting crime and injustice to protect his family and the Madhesh territory. He shared screen space in the project with actor Ramesh Budhathoki, alongside Alisha Baskota, Birendra Kushwaha, and Supragya Sharma.
