Sam Maccarone

Sam Maccarone moved to Los Angeles from Yosemite, CA when he was 18. Several short films he wrote and directed caught the eye of an executive at MCA/Universal records when he was 20. He directed a series of rap videos and was one of their youngest directors. He got his sag card in 1995 from amy heckerling on the film Clueless. He has had two separate and popular internet series between 1999 and 2002. one of them was Captain Jackson, and one of them was Roommates the series which Roger Avary (co-writer Pulp Fiction) called the best online series of the year.

Most of his films star Dian Bachar, Clifton Collins Jr, Preston Lacy and/or himself. He recently wrote, directed and starred in "National Lampoon's TV the Movie." He also has a roll in National Lampoon's Pledge This. He works with Les Claypool and has a roll in claypool's new film Electric Apricot. Claypool has a song in TV the Movie.
