Saholic is an Indian e-commerce company headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It sells branded Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops and accessories Online. Saholic has been identified as one of the sites which is a part of the e-commerce boom in India
History
Saholic was incubated within Spice Group in 2010 where Pankaj Jain was an Entrepreneur In Residence. Pankaj Jain is an alumnus of the Stanford University and The INDIAN Institute Of Technology, Delhi. He founded his first company Taxila Lab in 2004 which built a Multi-channel Long Tail Retailing platform for digital channels.
Funding
This venture raised funding from the Spice Group in 2010. Spice group ecommerce strategy asks these major questions - Does it enhance our retail capabilities and value or could it adversely effect it? On 27th July, 2012 S Mobility Ltd (A Publicly Listed Company ) has informed BSE that Hindustan Retail Private Limited ("HRPL"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has acquired entire share capital of Spice Online Retail Private Limited, the legal entity which runs Saholic.com.
Inventory
Saholic manages its own inventory in collaboration with Spice Retail which is a pioneer in mobile retailing in India.
