Safwat Al-Shwadfy
- Safwat Al-Shwadfy (Arabic:صفوت الشوادفي) was one of most prominent scholars and sheikhs in Egypt previously.
- Was born in Sharkia Governorate in Egypt, on 1374 AH 1955 CE.
- Received a bachelor's of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science (Cairo University).
- Memorize the holy Quran full and studied the explanation of Quran when he was officer in army, when the contest was held in the Holy Quran in the army he won by it, and the prize was Hajj to Mecca.
- Traveled to Saudi Arabia, studied the Islamic science there from great scholars such as Sheikh Muhammad ibn al Uthaymeen, Sheikh Abderazaq Afify, Then come back to Egypt to open new page of Da’wah to Allah
- Worked Editor-in-chief Tawhid Egyptian magazine ten years,Wrote more than 120 articles in Tawhid magazine and others, and wrote a set of various books, The most famous of them "Lamps lit the way for us"
- Delivered Hundreds lessons and lectures in most of Egypt's governorates and cities, and he was delivering Khutbah every Friday.
- Died On 2000, 1421H. after he prayed sundown prayer, He was Imam for people in prayer, The last Ayah was read in his life "And whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it, with the necessary effort due for it (i.e. does righteous deeds of Allah's obedience) while he is a believer (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) – then such are the ones whose striving shall be appreciated, (thanked and rewarded by Allah)" al-Isra' 17:19
