Saabs United

Saabs United is a popular Saab news and car blog that was formed in February 2009 by Australian blogger Steven Wade. The site was set up to replace Wade's previous blog Trollhattan Saab. The website connects many thousands of Saab enthusiasts, conducts InterViews with senior Saab executives and covers major product launches.

The website attracted over 160,000 individual users during the month of January after the Saab sale and was a constant source of information with insiders revealing information AbOUT negotiation revelations, often getting picked up by major news networks. The site's chief editor, Steven Wade, received the "Saabs United" award from Saab CEO Jan-Åke Jonsson and Chairman Victor Muller.. Saabs United is widely considered to have played a notable role in the successful sale of Saab to Spyker.. This can be attributed to the Saab community keeping pressure on GM through the Save Saab support rallies and other events set up or promoted through Saabs United.

In March 2011 Wade sold Saabs United due to family reasons and took up a job at Saab. His new job involved report about the company from inside vie his new wesite Inside Saab.
