Roy Tugbang

Roy Christian Tugbang (born July 16, 1995 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Filipino/Canadian-born singer.

He is one of the many performers under Top Stars Productions (Formerly JNS Productions) in Toronto. He is a 12 year-old bass/baritone. Known well around the Toronto Filipino community for his 2006 accomplisments that include being the 2006 Filipino Idol Toronto Grand Champion, recorded the Team Italy soccer theme for the Fifa World Cup of Soccer 2006 in Germany, Semi-finalist at the Toronto Rising Star Young Talent Competition and a member of The Juan Tomas Band in Toronto. He hosted his first solo concert on July 7,2007 titled "This Is The Moment Featuring Roy Tugbang" at the Vaughan City PlayHouse, with guest performers Jiva Andola, Nick Palma, Grace Rodriguez, Zena Zagala, and Michael Magali and special appearance guest Candace Santos. Most of his songs are from the operatic pop group Il Divo. He is known as "Boy Wonder" by the Philippine media in Toronto. His fans know him for his bass/baritone voice because when he sings he doesn't sound like a young kid. On June 11,2007 he joined Toronto Rising Star Talent Competition yet again, this time he went on to win the best on vocals and 1st runner up in all of Toronto. In September 2007, He recorded along with other Various Artists for a documentary/movie for the autistic.
