RooR
RooR is a brand of high quality glass on glass bongs manufactured in Germany. The company was started and is owned by Martin Birzle and is located in Frankenthal.
History
RooR was started in the 1980's, by German glass blower Martin Birzle. The name RooR was inspired by the word microorganism, which was in a science publication Birzle was reading. RooR is also phonetically similar to the German word for pipe, "rohr." RooR bongs are also known for the signatures put on them by each blower, usually in the form of squiggly lines and dots.
Current models
Prices range greatly, from around $100 for the very cheapest models, up to five or six hundred dollars or more for the highest-quality models. Additionally, RooR accepts requests for custom pieces.

Optional Features
Available on red label or higher bongs are optional beaker bottoms and ice notches. They also make 3.2mm and 5.0mm thick ash catchers, diffused downstems, and smoking bowl attachments for water pipes.
Trivia
The bong Michael Phelps was smoking from when photographed at a party was a RooR Custom Fairmaster Red Vengeance.
Due to their popularity they are often subject to counterfeiting by chinese companies using inferior glass and subpar glass blowing techniques.
RooR offers a repair service for damaged original pipes which are salvageable.
RooR also produce unique glass paraphernalia, including a RooR glass milkbottle.
