Ron Cramer

Ron Cramer is an American law enforcement official. He is currently the SHERIFF of Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. He was elected in 1996 as the 47th Sheriff of Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. His undersheriff is Captain John M. Vogler. Although the Sheriff of Eau Claire County is a non-partisan position, He is affiliated with the Republican Party.

Career

Cramer began his criminal justice career as a Deputy Sheriff For Eau Claire County in 1975 and has continued to serve as a Reserve Deputy, Patrol Deputy, Jailer, Civil Process Serve, and a Detective. In 1990 he served as an Investigator for the 6-County West Central [...] Task Force and in 1991 became supervisor of the Task Force. After winning election as Sheriff in 1996 he then became the Project Director of the Central [...] Task Force. In 1999 Sheriff Cramer was selected to attend and graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Sheriff Cramer has served on many committees during his term as Sheriff and has recently completed his term as President of the State Sheriff’s Association.
