Romanian Office for Science and Technology to the European Union
Romanian Office for Science and Technology to the European Union (ROST) was setup in Brussels in 2006 by the National Authority for Scientific Research of Romania.
Mission of the office
- to promote the efficient participation of the Romanian research community to the EU R&D programmes;
- to efficiently introduce to the interested organisations the Romanian research, development and innovation policies and the S&T potential;
- to support and promote the co-operation between the industrial and services companies, universities and research institutes, for jointly participating in European R&D consortia;
- to stimulate the setting up groups of interest at European level, by focusing the existent competencies at national level in order to increase the chances of participation in European projects/programmes.

Public and private institutions, research community from universities, national R&D institutes and other public/private R&D institutes, small and medium enterprises, industry and non-governmental organisations.

- searching and facilitating links with European partners;
- specific dissemination and promotion;
