History

Tim Rodgers and Tom Townsend founded Rodgers Townsend in 1996. In 2006 Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC) acquired the agency. Rodgers Townsend is part of the DDB Worldwide agency network.

Notable 2012

  • Rodgers Townsend was ranked in the top 100 advertising agencies globally for best interactive design by Awwwards – 60th best interactive firm in the world and 14th best in the United States.
  • A poster campaign for Come Out Swinging was recognized as a gold winner in the Graphis 2012 “100 Best in Advertising” annual.

  • DrivingFutures.com, a sustainability web platform the agency created for Enterprise, site of the day on April 28, 2011.

  • Rodgers Townsend won a daytime Emmy for the PBS television spot “Trusted Guide."
