The Rock Poster Explosion
With the success of The New shows Richard Goodall Gallery dedicated an entire floor of the gallery to the new genre of Rock Poster Art. This covered the new wave of the American based artists that were creating the next generation of music posters in the tradition of the sixties poster artists of San Francisco's Family Dog and Bill Graham Presents and Detroit. The likes of Wes Wilson, Moscoso, Mouse & Kelley, Garry Grimshaw and Dennis Loren.

This new art form started again with Frank Kozik and Coop in the late 90's and continues today with a whole new generation of artists. The Richard Goodall Gallery and now the new Richard Goodall Gallery: Underground is the only gallery in the UK exhibiting this work.

The new work was showcased in a number of exhibitions most notable in the Post Neo Explosionism show with Emek, Justin Hampton and Jermaine Rogers which featured an in-store appearance by Queens of The Stone Age, the subject of much of the work
