Richard Antcliff

Richard Antcliff (born 1976) is the Chief Anti Social Behaviour Officer for the City of Nottingham within the Community Protection Service (Nottingham City Council & Nottinghamshire Police) Spearheading Nottingham's fight against anti-social behaviour, RIchard Antcliff is known for taking a tough stance against antisocial behaviour, crime and environmental crime. In 2008 he was arrested on suspicion of Violent Disorder following a bar brawl in Nottingham where he was assaulted however, no charges were ever brought against him.He has a national reputation for using innovative methods to combat antisocial behaviour of which some have proved controversial such as a blanket ban on drinking alcohol in the street He is also currently seconded to the Home Office as a Regional Advisor to the Violent Crime Unit specifically on Serious Youth Violence (TKAP - Tackling Knives Action Programme), as well as an Advisor to the Anti Social Behaviour Unit and Neighbourhood Crime & Justice Group where he delivers on the 'Justice Seen Justice Done' agenda on behalf of Government Crime Advisor, Louise Casey.
