RESPECT Fighting Championships (RESPECT.FC) is a MMA organization based in Germany.

Rules

RESPECT.FC rules differ somewhat from the North American Unified Rules. Among the differences are the allowance of knees to the head of downed opponent while elbows to the head of a downed opponent are prohibited. Stomps and soccer kicks to the head of a grounded opponent are not allowed, but they are allowed to the rest of the body. Similar to the Unified Rules, fights have 3 rounds each lasting 5 minutes.

Fighter classes

  • Pro: 3x5min
  • Semi-Pro: 2x5min (does not allow elbows to the head)
  • Amateur: 2x4min (does not allow striking to the head on the ground and elbows to the head)

RESPECT.FC has 8 weight classes.
