Rajesh Rajan

Rajesh Rajan (born 1979) is an Indian medical physician and researcher.

Education

In 2003 Rajan graduated from the Medical Faculty of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. He later received a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Career

Rajesh Rajan is the President of The INDIAN Association of Clinical Cardiologists, where he represented the nation’s clinical cardiologists to the federal government and comments on the role of cardiology in current events. He was a participant in the Indo-Soviet Cardiology Research Project of KIMS Hospital and Peoples Friendship University of Russia. His research includes publications in journals including Interventional Medicine & Applied Sciences.

Rajan is a hospital director in Kerala, India and the director of the Ayurvedic Center, having previously worked as a cardiologist with Sri Sathya Sai Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and involved with the Rotary Club, acting as a chapter president. He has been a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology, and American Heart Association.
