Rajagopal (professor)

Dr. Rajagopal is a noted Professor of Marketing at Graduate School of Administration and Management (EGADE) of Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Mexico City Campus (ITESM CCM). He teaches various topics of marketing in undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and executive development program at the institute.

Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education is the largest private university in Mexico with 33 campuses in the country and a large number of academic collaborations with the engineering and business schools in North America, Europe and Asia. The Graduate School of Administration and Management (EGADE) of Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education is accredited to AACSB and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

He is Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce, London and Fellow of Institute of Operations Management and Professional Member of Chartered Management Institute. His biography is listed in the Who's Who in the World, 2008 and 2009. His biography is also published in the international directory of 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of 21st Century by the International Biographical Center, Cambridge, UK in 2008. He holds doctoral degree from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, India and has been conferred the National Researcher Level-II of Mexican National System of Researchers by CONACYT.

Rajagopal has held key positions in many premier management institutes in India including Institute of Rural Management Anand and Administrative Staff College of India.

Rajagopal holds many academic distinctions among which are the following notable honors and awards.

  • Article entitled "Measuring brand performance through metrics application" authored by Rajagopal which is published in the international refereed journal "Measuring Business Excellence" has been chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2009. This award is instituted by the Emerald Group Publishing company and Editorial Team nominates what they believe has been that title’s Outstanding Paper and up to three Highly Commended Papers from the previous 12 months.
  • Outstanding Conference Award conferred by the Business and Economics Society International, Worcester, MA USA in the annual conference of the society at Lugano, Switzerland during July 15-19, 2009.

Dr. Rajagopal has strong research orientation. He is very methodological in conducting the research.
