Rachael Gbekele-Oluwa Ayo

Rachael Gbekele-Oluwa Ayo is a Nigerian Professor of Chemistry at Faculty of Physical Science, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Her academic career is marked by research in organic chemistry, specifically focusing on the phytochemistry and biological activities of medicinal plants.

Early life and education

Ayo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Career

Ayo is an academic Research in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. She serve as Students Affairs officer at Samaru College of Agriculture, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2008. At Kaduna state University she was acting head of Department Of Chemistry 2013 -2014. Ayo she is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Chemists (FICCON) and Chemical Society of Nigeria (FCSN).
