Qforma

Qforma, Inc. was founded in 2000 by physicist Roger D. Jones from the Los Alamos National Laboratory, pharmaceutical executive, Kelly D. Myers, mathematician and author John Casti, and entrepreneur Robert MacDonald. The company is one of several companies in Santa Fe, New Mexico that were founded on technologies first created at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Santa Fe Institute. Qforma applies machine learning, adaptive computation, and other data mining techniques to large pharmaceutical and healthcare business data flows. The technology is used to reduce inefficiencies in traditional sales and marketing techniques with the goal of delivering products to patients more effectively. The company merged with SkilaMederi in June 2013. The combined entity kept the name Qforma.
