Professionals' Academy of Commerce
The Professionals' Academy of Commerce (PAC) () is an accountancy school in Pakistan. It was established to provide a great knowledge of accounting and finance in Pakistan.
History
PAC was established in 1987 by Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed (late) in Lahore. It has developed into the leading institution in Pakistan for accountancy and has over 5,000 students.
Occasions
There are different occasions and events in PAC held annually. Which includes Annual Sports Day, Founder's Day and many others.
Founder's Day
July 4 is a Founder's Day in PAC, a death anniversary of its founder Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed commemorated by PAC annually. On this day awards are distributed among the position holder students and among the outstanding teachers. Pricipal addressed to the students every year.
Sports
Sports are usually played annually in PAC which are only one day occasion. Besides table tennis is played daily by students within the college. All types of sports are played in PAC.
Annual Sports Day 2011
Annual Sports Day 2011 in PAC was only a one day occasion held in October 2011. All the sports were played in that occasion and particapants played and enjoyed well.
Annual Sports Day 2012
Annual Sports Day 2012 in PAC was only a one day occasionally held on October 19, 2012 in which approximately all sports were played by participants. Students put different stalls on that day which include food and cloth stalls. There was also a refreshment of free juices for all the participants as well as viewers. Sports venue was Railway Stadium, Garhi Shahu. Games played in the occasion were 100 metres, arm wrestling, badminton, chess, cricket, sack race, table tennis, three-legged race, tug-of-war and wheelbarrow race.
Sports were played between the classes sections and the winners got their awards at the end of day when all the sports went to end. Winners as well as runner-ups were awarded. There was also a drawing of lots for viewers in which t-shirts were given to the winners. At the end a music concert was held which lasted for twenty minutes in which a local singer was played.
