Pro Kid

Linda Mkhize (aka Pro) born 1981, is a Hip Hop artist from Soweto, South Africa. He was signed to Gallo Record Company after his independently released track 'Soweto' became popular. His popularity is largely because he proudly represents South African 'Kasi' (township) life, rapping in a mixture of vernacular and English. Pro Kid is the front man of the Saudi Westerns, a crew that includes label mate Maggs. He has been involved in several battles with other South African MCs, including a much-publicised battle with 2rinity member Kaydo on Johannesburg radio station YFM.

Pro Kid has worked with various producers including, Dplanet, Amu, Nyambz, Omen and Draztik.
