Academic program

Prince of Prestite Academy offers a twelve-week program leading to a professional diploma in Digital Motion Picture Production (DMPP). The curriculum consists of twenty modules designed to prepare students for entry-level positions within the motion picture industry. The program is balanced with both theory and production modules and will take students through all three stages of the movie making process; pre-production, production and post-production.

Prince of Prestige Academy, School of Digital Motion Picture Production is a pure-play online institution that uses an online classroom environment via the internet to educate and mentor students. The Academy is housed at The Maitland Executive Center located at 555 Winderley Place, Suite 300, Maitland, FL; which is an easy commute from Downtown Orlando.

History

Colin A. Harris founded a small production company in 2002, Global Impact Empire Entertainment. In 2005, the company was incorporated and operated under the name Global Impact Empire Entertainment; a Limited Liability Company in the State of Florida.. In 2009, the company was renamed Prince of Prestige when it changed its operations to an institution of higher learning. In 2010, Prince of Prestige Academy was granted the status to award diplomas by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education. This approval included the ability to offer online classes to students around the world.
