Notable work
Trafalgar Origins - is a browser based game created to show how Britain was assisted during the Napoleonic Wars by non-British Nationals. Set against a backdrop of British, French and Spanish tensions, Trafalgar Origins gives you the command of a Royal Navy ship in historical recreations of Napoleonic naval battles. The game features three different modes - initial training, arcade and historic missions. We worked closely with the Curator Emeritus at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich to make sure that we captured the detail, mood and feeling of the day in a way that was completely faithful to the facts of the battles. As well as being able to play in single-player mode, a multi-player option allows players the opportunity to play together in real time, enlisting up to five friends to join them in their battles.
Myths Storybook - is a browser based interactive storybook, developed for BBC Wales as part of their TV series AbOUT Merlin and Arthurian legend. Contained within the storybook engine are a number of interactive stories, VOICED by actors like Ioan Gruffudd, Ruth Jones and Sharon Morgan. Contemporary illustrators were also commissioned to provide diverse visual styles for the stories which were brought to life through animation and voiceover. Each story was accompanied by a game, designed to capture the essence of each story in engaging and compelling gameplay created for a young audience to enjoy.
1066 - is a browser based strategy game, based on The Famous battles of the Norman conquest. The game puts you in the thick of the action with direct control over your armies. Mini-games add to the tension, all wrapped up in a striking visual style using dramatic animation to deliver a distinctive portrayal of medieval warfare. Narrated by Sir Ian Holm, the game draws inspiration from such acclaimed and varied titles as Advance Wars, Wario Ware and Patapon.
