Precision Practice Management

Precision Practice Management is a healthcare information technology company based in the United States. It was founded in 1993. Primarily based in St. Louis, Missouri, Precision also has a branch offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Belleville, Illinois, as well as a working division in Chennai, India. With over 100 employees in the United States and 50 in India, Precision specializes in practice management software and services, and serves clients in 14 different states. Precision was featured in a March 2009 Smart Business article for its unique company vision.

History

The company was originally founded on September 20, 1993 as Precision Billing Services, Inc. On November 7, 2001, Precision Billing Services merged with Physicians Information Management, Inc. and the name of the combined company became Precision Practice Management, Inc.

Renae Hillesheim was the founder of Precision Billing Services back in 1993. Mike Barnell and Suzan Laycob joined the company via the merger with Physicians Information Management in 2001. Alan Pulliam joined the company in April 2002. Ken Shumard joined Precision in 2006.

Precision has won several business awards. In 2005 and 2006 Precision was named one of the top 25 fastest growing privately held companies in St. Louis by the St. Louis Business Journal. In 2008, it was named by the US Local Business Association as Best in St. Louis for Medical Business Administration.

Products

Precision offers medical billing services and CCHIT certified electronic medical records software through Encite. Encite software is completely customizable to fit the needs of different medical specialties. Precision also offers practice management software and IT support, including network support, mobile computing and system hardware selection.
