Prashant-Krishnan
Prashant-Krishnan are Prashant Pillai and K.S.Krishnan. They are the music composer duo from India. They teamed together to score music for their first film Rahu (2008). Rahu is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, who shot to fame, as a winner of the reality TV series Gateway on Sony PIX, India. Bejoy is also known for his ambitious award winning debut movie titled, Reflections, (2006) featuring Padmashri Mohanlal, the talented actor from Kerala.
The Rahu Soundtrack features Murtaza and Qadir Khan, the sons of the legendary Ustaad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. They feature in the soundtrack for the Sufi song, Betaabi, which is features the end-credits of the movie.
Future Projects
Prashant-Krishnan are currently working on the music score of a Malayalam Film, titled "Nayakan'. Lijo Pelliseri son of Jose Pelliseri is directing the film Nayakan. Indrajit, Dhanya Mary Vargeese and Thilakan are in lead. They are done with composing 2 tracks for the film and are currently working on a promo music video track for the film.
Prashant-Krishnan are rumoured to be working on a Sanjay Leela Bhansali Production Film, directed by one of the Assistant Directors of the blockbuster movies, Guru and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. They are also believed to be working on Bejoy Nambiar's next film, a Hollywood crossover film produced by Ashok Amritraj.
In 2008 the music composer duo were offered 2 tamil films, one directed by Sudha Kongara and other other one by Milind Rau, titled "Kadhal 2 Kalyanam", but due to reasons unknown they could not take up the films.
