PPRE
PPRE is an abbreviation for the Postgraduate Program in Renewable Energy (PPRE). It is one of the oldest European MSc in the field of Renewable Energy (since 1987), and it is organized by Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (Germany). Its duration is 1.5 years including a 2 month Internship and 6 month Master's Thesis. PPRE is especially designed for scientists of various backgrounds without much/any engineering knowledge. In addition, the program is also aimed at 3rd World Country students who want to acquire the needed technical background in order to enter the Renewable Energy Industry.
Since 2004, Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg also hosts the first semester of the European Master in Renewable Energy (among other universities), which is organised by the European Renewable Energy Centres Agency (EUREC), for some of its students.
Therefore, the best of the best from all over the world join this unique program. Some of the world's brightest students in clean energy, who come from more than 15 different countries, study with only one objective: to strengthen the future of renewable energy.
