Pitambari products Pvt Ltd is a leading Indian FMCG company founded in 1986 by Mr. Ravindra Prabhudesai- the current managing director, and his father Late Mr. Vamanrao Prabhudesai with its headquarters at Thane, Mumbai. The company is a manufacturer and distributor of 40+ products across 7 divisions - Home care, Health care, Agri care, Food care, Agarbatti, Farm and Agro tourism. Pitambari exports its products to USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Mauritius, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other common wealth countries

HISTORY

Founded in 1986 by Mr. Ravindra Prabhudesai and his father Late Mr. Vamanrao Prabhudesai, Pitambari today caters to more than 3 million customers. Starting with a single product, namely, Shining Powder, whose success encouraged them to expand their business, Pitambari is today a spices – to – soap & Ayurveda – to – manure producer. Mr Ravindra Prabhudesai and his father Mr. Vamanrao Prabhudesai perceived the idea of Pitambari in their backyard and over the past 25 years the company has spread pan India and to other countries around the globe.

PRODUCTION

Pitambari has five manufacturing plants located at:
• Ganpatipada (Maharashtra)
• Vadodara (Gujarat)
• Angaon (Supe, Maharashtra)
• Talawade (Rajapur, Maharashtra)
• Baddi (Himachal Pradesh)

REVENUE

The company had an annual turnover of approximately INR 150 crores in FY 2015-16.

PRODUCTS

Pitambari produces products across seven divisions namely: Home care, Health care, Agricare, Food care, Agarbatti, Farm and Agro tourism.
The company manufactures more than 40 products across these divisions, with Homecare being the very first division & Pitambari Shining Powder being the first product to be launched.

1. Ayurtej Panchakarma center

Ayurtej Panchakarma Center was started with a vision to practice Ayurveda in its complete traditional and authentic way, to give maximum benefits to patients at an affordable rate. Panchakarma therapy is a unique healing and detoxifying method of Ayurveda science. This therapy eradicates the disease from its root cause, and not just the symptoms, thus making the person healthy.

2. Pitambari Ayurvedic Health Clinic

It is a part of the Healthcare Division of Pitambari, with a vision to provide physical, mental & spiritual health to all. It intends to practice the concepts of Ayurveda in day to day life.

3. Pitambari Creative Studio

Pitambari offers a creative studio for photography purposes on rental basis to students and professionals in Mumbai.
